When I embarked on ACE's teacher training course, I was already a devoted educator with a passion for teaching. Little did I know that this course would not only infuse my existing teaching practices with 21st-century perspectives but also bridge the gaps, elevating the way I approached education. The hands-on sessions were engaging and immediately applicable to daily teaching. Despite not actively teaching during the course, I envisioned seamless applications for the new learnings. Covering beyond basic teacher training topics, each session embedded crucial classroom management strategies for creating happy classrooms, from planning to incorporating dramatic elements. The facilitators' integrity and humility left a lasting impact, influencing not just my teaching skills but essential life skills applicable in any setting. Open-mindedness, learned from co-teachers regardless of their position, became integral to my approach. Now in an IB PYP setup, I've grown significantly, recognizing the need for constant self-upgrade. The learnings from ACE are ingrained in my teaching practices, proving easy and apt for daily application. Proudly, this course wasn't just any ECCED program — it made me the authentic teacher I am today. Grateful to ACE, I am committed to spreading the joy of teaching and learning.
